Department of Academics and Professional Development

The academic department designs the scheme of studies along with its resource of all the campuses of LACAS and ensures the complete implementation as per the set learning objectives and criteria.

The department ensures healthy teaching practices across all grades and subjects through extensive incorporation of activity and inquiry based approaches. The ‘Khel Khel Mein’, ‘Writer’s Retreat’ and ‘Explore the World sections in Urdu ,English and Social Studies scheme of studies explicitly enable students to relate their classroom learning to real life situations making education fun through experiential learning.

“The English Language Buddies’’have been introduce in each branch .These language buddies work together with their co-teachers on crafting effective lesson plans with special emphasis on language proficiency and their optimal execution in the classes .Academic Facilitators observe classes and guide faculty members on the latest teaching practices. They are available full-time in each branch and provide support wherever required including ( and not limited to ) provision of resource material , taking demonstration classes , assisting with lesson plans and suggesting different activities that enchance learning within the classrooms.

The academic and the teacher training department helps to realize the school’s vision of a strong enquiry based curricula taught by an experienced, trained and motivated faculty. It instills in both the students and the faculty a deep-rooted passion for the acquisition of knowledge that ensures lifelong learning.
